A cowboy in the Wild West walks into a tavern¹ and orders a drink.

یه گاوچرون در غرب وحشی میره به یک سالن و یک نوشیدنی سفارش میده.

He gulps² it down and then walks outside, but notices that his horse is gone.

او [نوشیدنی رو] سر می کشه و بعد میره بیرون، ولی متوجه میشه که اسبش رفته.

So he comes back inside and shoots his revolver into the air and says, "My horse is gone."

بنابراین اون برمی گرده داخل و [با] اسلحه کمریش به هوا شلیک می کنه و میگه: «اسب من رفته...»

"I'm going to count to ten and when I'm done, well, let me just say this: I don't want to have to do what I did in Dallas."

«... میخوام تا ده بشمرم و وقتی کارم تموم شد، خوب، بگذارید فقط اینو بگم : نمی خوام {که} مجبور بشم کاری رو که در دالاس کردم [دوباره] انجام بدم.»

So about ten other cowboys run outside and when he's done counting to ten, he goes outside and sees that his horse is back.

بنابراین حدود ده تا گاوچرون دیگه می دون بیرون و وقتی [کار] شمردنش تا ده به پایان میرسه او میره بیرون و می بینه که اسبش برگشته(سرجاشه).

He starts to ride away. When he gets about ten yards from the tavern, a very curious stranger rides up to him and says, "I'm just wondering, what had you done in Dallas?"

اون [با اسبش] راه می افته که بره. وقتی حدود ده یارد(هر یارد حدود 9/0 متره) از سالن [دور] میشه، یک غریبهء خیلی کنجکاو [با اسب] به سمت اون میاد و میگه: «من فقط متحیرم؛شما در دالاس چکار کرده بودین؟ »

The cowboy turns to him and says, "Well, I had to walk home!" گاوچرون به [سمت] اون بر می گرده و میگه: «خوب، مجبور بودم پیاده برم خونه!»
